Bungee Jumping at Monteverde is a extreme experience. Besides the famous ziplinning (Canopy) through the cloud forest, there is also bungee jumping to the cloud forest. I came to Costa Rica an this is the best tour I have ever done in the country. I came with http://www.bananaadventuretours.com, a travel agency located in Costa Rica.
Monteverde extreme canopy has one of the most beautiful views of the area, that can be observed during the tour.To reach the major heights, mix the extreme adventure together with the majestic. And admire the rich natural beauty of the forest and its treasures. You will feel exciting emotions when doing the big tarzan swing, the giant rappel, and feeling fantastic distance of each one of the cable. Which reaches up to 2550 feet long and 450 feet height.

Costa Rica is a small country divided by a range of mountains and volcanos. Its special location offers both Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea and a wide range of scenes, wildlife and nature. It is a great country for mountain bike, no matter where the location: beach, flatlands or mountains. The best routes for mountain biking are Irazu-Turrialba, Cartago-Orosi, Rincon de la Vieja, La Fortuna-Tilaran, and Monteverde, among others.
Canopy, also called ziplining, is available almost every place in Costa Rica. The main difference are the type of forests through which the canopy tour was built, the heights and logitud, and the different scenery that can be seen. The first canopy built in Costa Ricas was the Original Canopy in Monteverde, but there are so many that only the best are offered by Banana Adventure Tours in each location. Some of this tours include wires as long as 1 kilometer, and Tarzan swing.
Costa Rica is the dream country for hikers of all kinds. Its landscapes, mountains, forests and wide selection of National Parks, biological reserves and botanical gardens makes it very interesting and exciting. Anywhere you go in the country you can find trails and places to walk and enjoy its great biodiversity.

Romeria in Costa Rica
Costa Rica is a country full of cultural expressions, althought they are not as colorful as other countries in CentralAmerica. one of the most beautiful traditions in the country is the Romeria, which takes place every Agoust 2 of every year. It is estimated that at least 2.000.000 of ticos move from everywhere in the country by walking to visit the Basilica de la Virgen de Los Angeles. Some of them walk from very far in the country to pay a promess or ask for something to the Virgen de Los Angeles, also called La Negrita. The Basilica is located in cartago city (Cartago province) and it is $24 kilometers from San Jose.
It is a event full of faith and cultural meaning that has been done from the begining of Costa Rica as a country. If you are in Costa Rica during those days you may consider accopany us to say thank you to our Negrita.
During that procession you will see all kinds of people, from the richest man to the poorest, and sometimes you will get to see pure expressions of what a Tico is on the countryside.
