Osa Peninsula, located on the south part of Puntarenas Province (Pacific side) is home of Corcovado National Park and other smaller reserves created to protect the intense biodiversity of the area. It is called by some the open zoo of Costa Rica or the National Park of the world. Osa Peninsula and its many town Puerto Jimenez are very far away, and tourist should plan at least 3 days in the area to be able to enjoy some of the wonders it has to offer.
